The Tweetdeck dev team has been busy over the holidays, bringing us version 1.3 of the iPhone application. It consists mostly of minor improvements, but there’s one cool feature: geotagging and inline maps in the tweet detail screen.

Of course, to have your tweets tagged with your current location, you must enable geo-tagging in the settings; iPhone’s GPS will do the rest. The coolest new feature is definitely “View on mapâ€�, which lets you see all the geotagged tweets from a certain column on a Google Map, and zoom in on them to get more info. (more…)

ComnetSolutions was consulted by Cool A.P.E. to help create an online store for their beverage business. Working with Cool A.P.E. was made a lot easier as they had a very concrete plan on how they wanted the online store to look like and right down to the corresponding features within.

Provisions were also made to enable customers to be able to place orders for their products via an online order without transaction. Essentially, the online store has all features required for their business which focuses on being a premier avenue for international beverage brands to the local market.

U.Me@Indus wanted ComnetSolutions to design and develop an online store to serve as a platform for them to be able to sell unique gifts and collectibles as well as an avenue to enquire further on their event management services.

The design of their website was conceived with their core business of personalized gifts and unique gifts in mind. Provisions were also made to enable customers to be able to place orders for their products via an online order without transaction.

Pat’s Pastry engaged ComnetSolutions to design and develop a new website for their customers to be able to browse through their catalogue of cakes and pastries on offer coupled with sections within their home page where updates and special promotions are displayed for customer’s attention.

Due the nature of their business and the natural need to allow customized orders, they wanted an in-built order enquiry form for their products.

Panasonic’s 152-inch TV just hit and it’s got 4k by 2k resolution, 3D support and several technologies that speed up display and optimize it for displaying 3D by reducing cross talk. Not that you’ll be able to afford one.

It’ll be about the size of the 150-incher above, plus two inches.

The quad luminous tech brings plasma pictures to full brightness in 1/4th the time, so fast refreshes don’t compromise picture intensity and they’ve managed to refresh pictures frame at a time instead of line at a time, so that alternating right/left images presented for 3D don’t suffer from the double effect that some displays show.
